AM I REALLY THAT OLD?

My sweet Madi Bear celebrated her 9th, yes I said 9th, Birthday on Saturday. Madi is such a special girl. She definitely came to me first for a reason. She is such a good helper and she seems to have a special intuition to know when her crazy mom needs help. She is tender hearted and people flock to her because of her genuinely sweet and fun personality. I love this girl!

We don't do big Birthday parties every year so this time she got to invite 2 friends to a Girl's Night Out. We took them to dinner and a movie. She chose to see A Christmas Carol and wanted to sit by herself, not by her embarrassing parents. We had heard that this movie was a little scary so the best we could do was to sit right behind them just in case. They made it through the whole movie but within the first 5 minutes the arm rest went up and they scooted in close and all had their arms around each other.

Here they are walking into the movie singing, "Bad Girls, Bad Girls What you gonna do? What you gonna do when they come for you?"
Strikin' a pose in their sweet 3-D glasses. You do not want to mess with these "Bad Girls".

Following the movie we went to Red Robin to enjoy some fabulous food and open a few presents.

You can really see her fun personality in this picture:)

We opened her family presents the morning of her birthday. Dani had been talking about her present for her for days. This purse that she is holding up is a purse that Dani has had for a while and it is her all time favorite possession and she chose to give it her older sister. Do I have the best children or what?!

I promise you my Madi will work with animals in one way or another when she is older. We call her the animal whisperer. She has got a way with animals, they just love her. She opened this huge horse and just about had a heart attack.

Last night we were able to celebrate with my family and enjoy her favorite Texas Sheet Cake with some of her favorite people.

Madisen, I love you! I am so thankful for you and all that you bring to my life! You are such a light in all of our lives. Hope you had a great Birthday!

Where Do I Begin?

I have come to the conclusion that most of my posts are full of pictures of my kids and I now know why that is. I have been absolutely miserable lately (I know I'm a baby-waa-waa) and this is how I focus on the best things in my life instead of how incredibly huge, swollen, and grumpy I am. These emotions that I have been dealing with are so not important but my children, on the other hand, are the most important people in my life ( my hubby too:)) I am so blessed and so Happy. This is my favorite time of year.

Kash had a Thanksgiving Feast at his preschool and he dressed up as an Indian. His Indian name was Black Horse.
A couple days before Thanksgiving we went to Nanna's house for our 1st annual pie making night. It was a blast! My mother-in-law is so talented in so many ways. We were so happy that she was willing to share her talent with us!

We actually put up the Christmas lights before Thanksgiving this year. (when I say we I really mean my most awesomest hubby)

I caught these 2 actually being nice to each other. I love these little moments!

They were totally rockin' out!

We went out to dinner the day before Thanksgiving and we came to a decision that going out to dinner with Kash was no longer a fun thing to do. This is what he was doing the entire time until his food came out.

And he would only use a knife to eat his food!

After our big meal on the special Turkey day Grandad took us out back and shot BB guns with us.

AZ STATE FAIR!

Yesterday brought back some old, old but great memories. We were able to go as a family and watch Dani perform at the good old Az State Fair. She did Fabulous, we are so proud of her!
(she's the one with her hands clasped together)
Front and center! She is such a performer.

Shakin' her booty in her booty shorts!

We were then able to go and enjoy the rides, the fun exhibits, and let's not forget the GREAT FATTY FOOD! (If you click on the pictures you can see the looks on their faces. I'm still laughing out loud...too funny)

Kash loved pretending he was Super Man flying through the air!

PICTURE OVERLOAD

As many of you out there, this is the start of my absolute favorite time of the year. The weather cools down, the kids are happy-always looking forward to the next celebration, and pure joy just knowing what we are experiencing at the moment and the joy to come from what we will experience in the upcoming months to come. We are able to spend November focusing on what we are thankful for (which is soooo much but that is for another post). December brings such a beautiful spirit to our home with celebrating with family and focusing on our Savior Jesus Christ. Last but most definitely not least, January will bring the birth of our fourth child which I am so excited for I can hardly stand it!

Now on to the Halloween festivities:

Every year we have the opportunity of spending time with some great people in our neighborhood at our annual Pumpkin Carving Party.

Kash had his 1st Halloween Parade at his pre-school. Doesn't he make a great Batman!

Dani as Dorthy in her school parade.

Madi as Selena Gomez from Wizard's of Waverly Place.

Madi at the donut eating contest.

Kash was lucky enough to have a turn.

Most of the Grandkids at Nanna and Grandad's.

My sweet Kiddos.

Kash showing off his Batman skills.

My girls with my Mom and Dad.( Kash was being a booger and wouldn't take a picture)

I want to take a minute and and publicly announce my love for my children. My babies have been SO patient with me the last 7 months. There love for my is unconditional and they are such great examples of everything good to me. I hope they will always know and feel of my great love for them.

I found Kash watching TV in this basket last night in our room. He is so funny and creative.

My girls got to cheer at the MVT game this last weekend. They did so good. I was so proud! It brought back some fun memories for me. Maybe these two will have the same picture when Madi is a senior and Dani is a sophmore:)

A Good Start to A Good Week (Hopefully :0)

We started out this October Break by taking a quick trip up to Pine Top to help some cousins move their Semi Truck full of stuff into their rental and storage unit. It was a long day but it was so great to spend time with some great people that we hardly ever got to see seeing as how they lived in Alaska!

We rented a little cabin and made a mini vacation out of this trip. Here are the kids actually getting along. Gotta cherish these moments right?!

The kids did so good helping out where they could and just staying out of the way, we took them to Denny's for dinner. If you look at Isaac's face (the only one looking at the camera) you can tell what kind of day it was.

The kids played outside all day, everyday. The weather was fabulous and they were so tired from running non stop all day they fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow. How great is that?!

We took the kids to the park and let them run wild once again. Jake had to get in on all the fun. Is it just me or does swinging never get old?

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and drove up to Sunrise and rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain. I was so proud of my kids for not freaking out!

The weekend was a blast. Now I just hope and pray that I make it through this next week without being a witch of a mother. I am trying so hard to pretend that I have enjoyed this pregnancy so far but who am I kidding? I am miserable for some reason, I am a flippin' HIPPO, and I have been so grumpy and moody. I have never been of felt like this with my other 3 pregnancy's so this is all new to me and I have no idea how to handle my crazy self! Anyhow thanks for letting me vent.

GOOD WEATHER AND GOOD FUN!

Let the festivities begin! I am so looking forward to this Holiday season. For one, I love my kiddos and it's so nice to see them having so much fun and being together as a family more than we usually are, and for two, I am looking forward to this pregnancy flying by through the season! I HAVE HAD WITH THIS ONE! I am soooooo excited to have this sweet baby boy in my arms and with our family but, HOLY COW, I have despised this pregnancy!

Anyways, onto the fun stuff, my awesome sister-in-law Amber was in charge of our monthly combined FHE and she had the funnest activities planned for the kids. She is so creative, I love it. We started out with a sweet game of Halloween Bingo, then we made spooky spiders with ding-dongs (I forgot how much I love those things), black licorice, and red hots, then onto the creepy popcorn hands. It was such a fun night. Once again I am so lucky to have such a great and fun family! Thanks Amber!

Now for the good weather. Now that my girls are back in school I get to spend some quality time with my Kash Man. This little boy is sheer entertainment for me. He's crazy but he is such a good boy, has the best and funnest personality, and most importantly he loves me :) We have enjoyed this great weather so much. The park has never been so much fun!
